Due to the popularity of our Society the committee has had to put a limit on the maximum number of members we can accommodate for our talks, shows and visits - we have not yet reached this limit for 2019; if interested please apply. We are a very friendly society and hold a full programme of talks and visits each year - click here to find out how to join

Each year, we decide as a Committee, which charities to support from proceeds taken at The Milford Village Fete held in June and at our AGM held in November. Below are details of the recent charitiable contributions we have made.

We supported the local Food Bank at our AGM held in November 2018, our chosen charity for this year. We raised £156.50 on the night from a tombola.

This year we supported Mane Chance Sanctuary in Compton for our chosen charity at the Milford Village Fete held in June 2018. Thank you to everybody who kindly donated plants and other items to sell and to all those who helped on the day. It was a very successful day, the weather was lovely and the fete very busy. We collected £285.00 on the day and with an additional contribution of £40.00 previously allocated, so will be donating £325.00 to Mane Chance.

We supported Fountain Centre at St Lukes this year at our AGM held in November 2017, our chosen charity for this year. We raised £70.40 on the night from a tombola and an additional £10 after the AGM, therefore donataing £80.40 in total.

We supported Country Mice at the Milford Village Fete held in June 2017 and through the sale of plants and other garden items kindly donated by members, raising £170.63 which has been donated.
